Senior Engineer, Maintenance (I&C)
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of all instrumentation and control systems for the power plant project.Oversee the installation, configuration, and commissioning of control systems of complete Combined Cycle Power Plant, DCS, SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition), and instrumentation devices.
- Liaise with stakeholders such as project managers, contractors, Owner Engineer and vendors to ensure effective collaboration and communication.
- Ensure that all instrumentation and control work is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Review and ensure compliance of instrumentation and control system designs, including loop diagrams, control panel designs, and wiring schematics. Ensuring compliance with industry standards (IEC, ISA, etc.) and project specifications.
- Ensure the integration of I&C systems with the overall plant systems and electrical systems.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and industry standards, including safety regulations, quality control, and environmental regulations.
- Conduct regular audits, inspections, and reviews of work to verify adherence to quality and safety protocols.
- Review inspection and test plans and witness shop and site inspections, Factory Acceptance and Site Acceptance Test. Prepare NCR’s if any, Punch list and communicate to the supplier.
- Resolve conflicts arising out of project issues.
- Develop a commissioning coordination procedure involving all partners.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Mechatronics or Instrumentation Engineering with a focussed exposure to a combined cycle gas based power generation
- At least 9 -12 years relevant Combined Cycle power plant project experience. Personnel with exposure to advance class GT in a single shaft mode is preferred.
- Should be capable to handle BOP – Mechanical systems also
- Extensive knowledge and experience in monitoring the construction activities at job site.
- Confident in abilities and proven track record.
- Must be able to plan and conduct engineering reviews of proposals, plans, estimates submitted by contractor, consultants with a view to making recommendation to management
- Extensive knowledge and experience with use of international codes of practice and familiarity with local SS codes of practice
- Understanding of power generation project procedures and practices.
- Knowledge and understanding of environmental and regulatory compliance issues related to power generation projects.
- After completion of project COD, should be ready to move over to Maintenance of 600 MW CCGT power plant and lead I&C maintenance team

- 5-day work week.
- Willingness to travel to Corporate/Site Office whenever required
