Analyse market information and evaluate energy transactions to ensure all relevant aspects are favorable to and consistent with the company’s risk management guidelines and procedures.
Employ trading processes and procedures to identify opportunities, make proper trading decisions to optimise revenue
Conduct market analyses and gather competitive intelligence on the underlying supply and demand forces and market condition that impact the half-hourly energy markets dynamic.
Leading the development of trading systems, models, or tools for the trading needs
Constantly review methodology or business processes that enable the team to perform its function more effectively, productively, and reduce chance of error
Formulating trading and training plans
Manage and supervisor a trading team that performs daily market operation, CfD and Futures market operations
Managing & planning of team manpower & resources
Maintain good communication and coordination with all sections internally and counterparties externally
Ad-hoc task(s) as assigned by reporting officer
Requirements:
Degree in Engineering, Economics or Business
5 to 10 years of working experience in power, energy or related industry is preferred
At least 5 years of supervisory experience in competitive business environment
Experience with the National Electricity Market of Singapore (NEMS) and Singapore
